Myrons first soccer loss...

Playing against High School kids has posed quite the challenge to our boys. Playing up means they are competing against bigger, stronger, more skilled players. Unfortunately on Saturday, the Jets (Myrons team) lost by one to the Tracyton Bombers.
This team had it out for us. Last year, they lost the tournament by one to us.
At last nights practice, Coach Maracich made sure the boys got their workout. They ran nearly the entire time. What I love about their coach is that instead of just barking commands, he gets right in there with him. He ran right along with them. There is such a sense of comraderie between the team mates. Most have known each other since Kindergarten, including Myron.
Way to go Jets!! Next week we are in Port Orchard. Wish them luck!

Did you get another camera?

Playing up is hard...Kylie's team last year played up and I don't think they won any games. They're doing better this year playing their own age group, although they played the BI U16s last week and lost. It's good for them to have some challenge, though.

Well, luckily, Myrons team has been playing up for a couple of years, and it has gone pretty well.
Last year, they made it all the way to state. It is a lot of hard work though! I'd love to come watch Kylie play sometime. Where are they playing?
No, new camera. A fellow parent snapped these and emailed them to me because I missed the game.
