State soccer tournament! Year 2!

What a night. Myrons soccer team played two teams back to back in the freezing night air.
First game was at 5:30 and the second was at 7:45. They had a 30 minute break in between to get warm and eat something. The fields were incredible. I understand how Eastlake won out over Bainbridge.
Below, Nathan keeping himself and Mae warm. Brrrr.
The kids out for the first half critiquing the kids playing. FYI, both groups did this.
It was so funny to hear their comments during the game. "Oh man, I would have ----- ".
My little monkeys rooting on their brother. Myron played quite a game. He was everywhere!

You can't get the ball past Myron. Seriously. You also can't see his feet when he runs. Yep..he's THAT fast. (Okay, so maybe a little exaggeration but WOW)
This team is incredible. All the kids are best buds and so amazing with each other. As parents, we have all gotten closer as well. What a special experience. We, as a family will always look fondly back on these moments.

EMAIL FROM COACH---

"There is still a chance we will play tomorrow afternoon. The two teams we
played today play each other at 9am. We should know around 10:30 in the
morning whether we have an afternoon game or not.

Here are the scenarios for us playing tomorrow (assuming I am interpreting
the rules and tie breaks correctly and that the score of our second game was
0-5. I sort of lost track of the goals scored against us.)

1) Dragons (team we played in first game) are shutout and allow more than 5
goals scored against them

Or

2) Dragons are shutout 0-5 and we win a coin toss"

Soooo.......they might still have a chance!
