Nearest Book

Nearest Book

Here are the rules:

Grab the nearest book.
Open it to page 56.
Find the fifth sentence.
Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
Don’t dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.
Here's mine:
"Now you attend to me, if you please," said the policeman, taking out a very large note-book and very small pencil.
- Lying on Myrons floor, "The Chronicles of Narnia".
(Computers are set up in Myrons room)
Thanks Brooke!

hee hee. the conference edition of the ensign is sitting on my computer table. pg 56, 5th sentence says, "As individuals, they are unnamed."

the 6th one says, "As a group, however, their name will always be remembered for honesty, courage, and the willingness to serve."

sorry I couldn't just leave it at the 5th.

Except taken out of Childcraft The How and Why Library Vol. 3 - Stories and Poems.

I'm sitting at my parent's computer and in the room in their bookcase with all of the encyclopedias, Childcraft books, Stories from the Book of Mormon, a few dictionaries and phone books. At least the closest was actually a reading book.
