We knew it was going to be hot today when we were sweating to death before we even opened our eyes this morning. At 11, we took out the stroller and headed to the beach near our house.
It was perfect. Cool, shady, wonderful.
Mae explaining about the fishies and the sharks that live in the water.
I cannot even begin to explain to you how hard it is to get a shot like the below photo.
In the water. It took an hour or so for the tide to go out enough that we were not cutting our feet on the barnacles. Mae loved to walk around in the water and we made a little pool with rocks all around so that she didn't stray too far.
The boys raced me to the road and this was the scene I walked up to. It may not seem like much to you, but I couldn't help but picture them looking at this photo when they are older. They are really becoming good friends.Tonight, after dad got home, we headed to Dairy Queen. Apparently everyone else thought this was a great idea too. You should have seen the drive thru line!
Mae and her ice cream. Yum yum.
