Let's start with the fact that I have NEVER acted. Despite this lil problem, my director friend, Gabe asked me to play the lead role in his upcoming play at Kidimu, "The Rainbow Fish."Nevermind that I get stage fright, or that it is 24, YES, 24 pages of memorizing, or that people are PAYING to see the show, or that I have to not only perform it for 4 days, but, again the month after in Poulsbo at the Jewel Box theater for 6 shows! As soon as he told me that the entire time that he was writing the script, he was thinking of me as the Rainbow Fish, I was sold. Vanity wins every time. Coincidentally, this is the Rainbow Fish's issue as well. Go figure. Wink wink.
