Friday night date night

Shane and I have decided that every Friday night is date night. This may or may not include my friends....
Tonight we went to our friends wine shop for wine tasting. We ate, our friends tasted wine. It was nice. :)
We met a neat guy from Port Townsend that not only is an entertainment attorney for some big rock stars, but is an author as well. He ended up giving me a copy of his book for free and signed it for good measure. We also invited him to tag along with us throughout the evening, but lost him at Isla Bonita, when it was clear that he'd rather drink more.
After a quick dinner at Isla Bonita. We headed down to Pegasus to watch my friend Ethan perform. He is so talented. Our friends from church, the Hunts met us down there, along with Sylvie and Ted, and Kristi. We had a great time.
The girls, minus Brandi.
Oh, and Shanes head. It was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to our next date night.
We plan on inviting a new couple each week. The old ones are always welcome too. Wink.

Getting better

My closest girlfriends, minus a few, threw me a little party last night to celebrate my new ahem...body. I only lasted until 10pm and then had to go back home to rest.
It was fun to finally put on a shirt that was a size M, instead of XL to accommodate my large rack.

Back to resting today. Last nights little 2 hour excursion wiped me out!

Breast Reduction surgery

Well, I finally did it. Breast reduction surgery with liposuction and a lift. Surgery was Friday at 7am. We had to be at the hospital an hour away by 5:45am. I went to be at midnight the night before. Pre surgery jitters. My doctor was/is amazing. He was jovial, fun and kind.
He even (and I remember) put on Depeche Mode for me as we went into the operating room.
I have been surprised by the pain. Not so much in my chest, but in my legs. I can hardly walk today. The doc says it is because I was lying still for so many hours during surgery. I don't know. What I do know, is that it feels like giant charlie horses up and down my legs and it hurts with each step. I can barely even move, but I have to. We went back to the docs this morning at 7:45 (he doesn't want me to rest apparently). We looked at his beautiful work. I am really excited. He removed nearly 2 pounds off each breast. Whoa.....
Tomorrow I get to remove the dressing and shower. I am excited. My stomach has been bloated because of all the fluids they pumped into me, so I look pregnant. It will take a couple of weeks or more before I get to see my "real" body, but it's going to look fantastic.
Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.
